England were in a very good position after the stumps on Day 1. They bowled well and did not let the West Indies player settle. They kept the pressure on them but Samuels was still there. He was a dangerous wicket. They couldn't get him out.
Day 2:
1st Innings
West Indies continued their innings. They did not bat well. Marol Samuels completed his century and then soon Samuels and Ramdin got out and the team was in a spot of bother. They tailenders did score some important runs and took the score to 299.
Their top scorer for the innings was Marol Samuels. He scored 103(228) balls with 14 boundaries to his name.
England bowled superbly. They were just mind blowing. They bowled the right areas and got the West Indies out for only 299 runs. They bowled superb line and lengths and got the wickets.
The pick of their bowlers was Stuart Broad with bowling figures of 24-9-61-4.
England came out and batted well. They would be looking to try and take a big lead and bat well. They might have not have good starts in the 1st match but this time they have got a superb opening stand. At the end of days play they had scored 74 runs without loosing any wickets.
The pick of their batsmen was Alastair Cook who scored 37*(92) balls with 6 boundaries to his name.
West Indies did not bowl that well as they did not get any wickets and did not keep pressure on them.
