Southampton Defender Nathaniel Clyne has told the Old Trafford that he wants to join Manchester United in summer, according to Goal.
Clyne was in talks with Southampton over a new long deal, making the defender stay at Southampton but the saints have received intrest from many sources.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman has admitted that it would be "difficult" to keep Clyne at the club after the player was approached from top clubs after Southampton apparently failing to climb the ladder to the top four.Despite of approaches from top clubs including Tottenham and Manchester City, but th 24-year-old has had his mind at The Red Devils.
A source close to the situation told Goal: "The player has made it known that United are his first choice, the deal is not done yet but it is a clear indication of his thinking."
