The match between Chennai Super Kings & Royal Challengers Bangalore ended with the Super Kings winning the match by 27 runs.
The Chennai Super Kings lost the toss and had to bat first. They do credit 181 runs of the 20 overs. Dwayne Smith stated of well with Brendon McCullum but later Brendon McCullum lost a wicket. After that Suresh Raina & Dwayne Smith played good cricket. Suresh Raina scored 62 runs of 30 balls with scoring 6 sixes and 6 fours. He was given company of Dwayne Smith. Later one after one everyone started losing their wickets but Faf du Plessis scored a good 33 runs of 18 balls helping to score well. In the bowling they were impressive. Ashish Nehra took 4 wickets for just 10 runs in 4 overs. The other bowlers were not economical as compared to previous records. The fielding unit was impressive as they had excellent players like Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina etc.
The team won the toss and elected to bowl first. Mitchell Starc who came after an injury was impressive in the first spell of 2 overs. But later in the next spell he was not economical at all. The spinners Yuzvendra Chahal & Iqbal Abdulla did their work by taking the wickets. The team had an all round effort. In the batting Bisla & Rilee Roussow started well but later after the wicket of Bisla the team started losing their wickets. Ab de Villiers & Virat Kohli tried to get the grip on the crease and achieve their win but they couldn't. Virat Kohli was playing on one side but the team was losing wickets on the other side of the match. The team was not going through proper coordination which helped the oppositions to win the game.
The man of the match was Suresh Raina who scored brilliant 62 of 30 balls and gave a excellent all round performance for the team.
