Chennai Super Kings vs Sun Risers Hydrabad : Post match


This is the opening match for the Sunrisers and the second match for CSK who are coming from a very good and boost full performance in their last match. The SRH team needs to start well for their future ahead in the IPL.
1st Innings
CSK batted first. They began their 
innings with two explosive openers called Smith and Mccullum and gave the team a superb start. Smith got run out and then Raina also lost his wicket soon. MCcullum carried on his great form and also Dhoni came in. 


He then gave the opponents a great end. He started slowly but then started his explosion. He took the bowlers for many sixes and fours and completed his half century but was out by a fantastic catch by Warner. Mccullum was still on the crease and played superb shots. He went on to make his second century in IPL and was a great innings. He took lots of risk but was a very well played century.

The best performance in the team was from Brendon Mccullum with a spectacular century and scored 100(56) balls with 7 boundaries and 9 huge sixes.

SRH did not bowl well. Ishant Sharma who made his comeback from an injury went for 46 runs in his 3 overs and was very much expensive. Their fielding was superb as they had 3 direct hits for 3 run outs. Their pick of the bowler was 

Trent Boult with bowling figures of 4-0-34-1.

CSK posted a huge score of 209 and gave a target of 210 to the SRH.

2nd Innings.

SRH needed a very good start to win the match. It was a very big task to achieve the big task. Dhawan gave them a brisk start but got out to a loose ball. Then they lost wickets at regular intervals but Warner was still there at the crease. He scored a well made half century. But couldn't take the team to the winning line.


They did not bat to their strengths and gave away wickets very easily. They need to look at their bating order.

Their top scorer was David Warner with a score of 53(42) balls with 1 boundary and 3 sixes to his names. Others did not get going and could not contribute.
CSK as usual bowled well and also fielded superbly. They did great in the middle overs and took wickets at regular intervals. The pick of their bowlers was 

Dwayne Bravo with the bowling figures of 4-0-25-2.
