Shikar Dhawan carries his form

Shikhar Dhawan the left-hand Indian opening batsman is a great talent. He performed well in the Champions trophy. 

When he arrived to Australia for Test Series against the Aussie and began the series. He was out of touch and form. He couldn't find form at all. He did not play well in the first 3 test matches and so was dropped for the last match. He did not even score more than 2 half centuries. He needed form before the World Cup. The tri series began and still did not find his form.

He did not get going in the test series. He did get a good 30 odd runs in between where he middled the ball but it wasn't enough. He needed to spend more time on the field.

But as we say good talent cones out at the time when it is needed the most and at the perfect time.
This is what happened as he arrived in the tournament. He found his touch against the arch rivals Pakistan. He scored a well placed innings of 74 as he middle every ball to the fence and was looking in great touch. He did change his batting a bit and it worked. He showed his talent.
Then next match against South Africa he scored a superb and sensational ton and showed his talent and slammed his critics. He played like a class player. Middled every ball and hit many boundaries and sixes. He took a toll on Steyn and Morkel as well and hit them for sixes.
He did fail against West Indies and UAE.

Against the Irish he scored a fast and well made hundred. He has showed superb form.
He has been carrying his form on his back.
