Morata had just another decent game as Spain secured 1-0 victory over Ukraine, thanks not only to Alvaro(for his goal) but also to Iker who had some brilliant saves which secured an uncomfortable victory.
The Former Real Madrid forward pounded the only goal of the Fixture, in his first competitive start in Spanish Outfit with a scoop over the Ukraine Goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov after running between two defenders he was Lucky we can say to scoop the ball.Morata, though, was not too upbeat because he believes he should have done better.
"Well, I want to keep playing games. But it was not my best game,I think it could have been better. I'm happy because we won, but I have to work.I can be even better. I am not that self-critical, I'm just realistic. I could have scored two goals."-he told reporters.
The Zebras forward admitted that Ukraine made it tough and thanked his former Club mate Iker Casillas for some fine saves.
"It was very tough and very physical. You have to play these games and win, which many think is easy, but what matters are the points."-he added.
"It's just another number. It doesn't matter. The important thing is to be here."-he said when asked about the pressure when he wears the Number Seven Jersey for his Nation.
Victory for Spain saw them hooked up in the second place with 12 points in Group C as they still trail Slovakia.
