India lost the toss and had to bowl first. They were very expensive in the first 15 overs, but then they were in action after the wicket of Paul Stirling fall. Ed Joyce was the next man to come in but he was departed by a wonderful ball of Suresh Raina. The Indians did well after wickets kept on falling. And it became now 5th time that the Indian's bowled out every teams in World Cup 2015. The bowlers are taking lots of efforts for the win, so as the batsmen. Again today Mohammed Shami was successful in taking 3 wickets. In the batting it was Rohit Sharma & Shikhar Dhawan who played extremely well. They made a 174 runs opening stand in the match. They played extremely well in the batting as well as bowling. It was a much needed win for Dhoni to surpass Ganguly's record of most wins in World Cup
Ireland won the toss and elected to bat first. They did well with batting first. William Poterfield the captain and the good allrounder Paul Stirling did very well in the start. They made good runs in the match. But soon they were departed soon. They had Niall O'Brien to play very well in the match with making 73 runs for himself and a very notable contribution for the team. They were not at impressive in the bowling because they gave quick runs in the match against India. Overall a good performance with dome players in India.
