WEST INDIES VS IRELAND - PREVIEW

This match is going to be between Chris Gayle and Kevin O'Brien (West Indies & Ireland) in the ICC World Cup 2015. This match will be the 5th match of ICC World Cup. This match is going to be played on 16th of Feb 2015 at 3:00 IST at Saxton Oval, Nelson. So far only one ODI has taken place on this ground which isn't a parameter to judge the character of the pitch.

West Indies Batsmen like Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Smith and Darren Sammy in the batting line up, no team can take them lightly.  This team will miss players like Pollard and Bravo as the selectors drop them out from team. This team has a strong batting line up. The existence of Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels at the top of the order will keep opposing captains at their toes. This team has inexperienced captain. With Sunil Narine out of the side, their bowling has been weakened. Bowling attack has no variety. West Indies will have glimmer of hope, If the trio of Gayle, Samuels and Russell click in unison.

And at the other side Ireland has William Potterfield as their captain.Talented player like Kevin O'Brien might cause some challenges to the competitors. Ireland may take the Pool into new heights as they can make relevant fixtures look as shocking once. Ireland is the team which can let the whole point of qualifying differ. They have a competitive bowling attack which can shutter the stumps.

Ireland have not been involved in many of ICC cricket events. So the experience of world cup is very less. Ireland will be knowing the problems when they faces West Indies. Therefore Ireland will be having though time of playing against them.
