Monk PROUD of double

The Red Devils have slipped down the guarantee Champions League berth as they lose cheaply to The Swans with Andre Herrera scoring the first one but was denied by Ki Sung and a deflection of Shelvey's strike giving 3-valuable-points to Gary Monk's side.


"I am so pleased with everyone connected to the Club,"Monk told sky sports. "I know what the club means to everyone , not just me the whole squad , even the ones not involved today.The way the focused and pushed this week and understood what I ask from them-they did the club proud"

"We had the aggression and intensity and had to patient at times because United are a good side, but that  we did very well and we manage the game well.To come away with three points and have six points from United this season is a fantastic achievement"

 "Since Bony has left all the emphasis has gone on to bafe but he has been tremendous,"said monk."He works extremely hard and deserve a goal today at the minimum. "
