India vs UAE- Postmatch


The lack of experience in the UAE  squad was been taken into advantage by the Indian bowling department as the UAE were dismissed for a poor sum of  102. UAE opted to bat first after winning the toss letting bowler the Indian bowler into pressure. This was the 21st match of ICC's event at W.A.C.A Ground, Perth, Australia.

The squad for this match:-

India:-  Shikhar Dhawan,  Rohit Sharma, Virat Kholi, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni(c), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav.

UAE:- Amjad Ali, Andri Berenger, Krishnachandran Karate, Khurram Khan, Swapnil Patil, Shaiman Anwar, Rohan Mustafa, Amjad Javed, Mohammed Naveed, Mohammed Tauqir(c), Manjula Guruge.

The UAE failed to start well with their bat. Their openers didn't perform well in their game. Their middle order also failed to show a good performance. Shaiman Anwar tried to give a good total to the opposition team but he also cant succeed. The full squad of UAE were aside at 102 runs in 31.3 overs. On the back of Ravichandran Ashwin's excellent spell of spin bowling, He tooked 4 wickets by giving only 25 runs. It turned out to be the Ashwin's best figure in ODI's.

On the other side Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was not able to perform well against UAE. The player who had an incredible innings against South Africa. After the wicket of Dhawan, Virat Kholi was on the crease with Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kholi contributed 57 runs  of 55 balls and 33 runs of 41 balls respectively to thei team. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kholi led their team to victory by 9 wickets. This both player had an good partnership. But the real hero of this match was R Ashwin who had his name in wicket list 4 times by giving only 25 runs.
