After missing out in 2011, Afghanistan are ready for their debut on the big stage. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is a huge opportunity for Afghanistan, who have shown great competitive spirit over the years.

They have  Mohammad Nabi as the captain of Afghanistan for the World Cup 2015. Nabi is experienced batsman and  is also a good player so can expect a good play from him in World Cup. And Samiullah Shenwari gives him a good company.

Strength: Afghanistan are a team with a good blend of experience and youth.
Afghanistan is blessed with their bowling attacks. Shapoor Zadran and Dawlat Zadran, who lead the bowling attack. Nawroz mangal is one of the more experienced batsman in top order. Samiullah Shenwari can be one batsman who can force the pace.

Weakness:- While Afghanistan’s bowling unit has delivered a lot of promise, their batting has been an area of major worry. So it will be difficult for them to face big team. Their experience in World Cup is very less.
